This lick is derived from 2 shapes of an E9 arpeggio. Nothing solidifies the harmony like strong melodic chord tone improvisation. I chose two patterns in order to get you guys working your shapes together! There is always a good reason for me to do what I do! Nothing too technical here other than the added chromatics, but be mindful that your phrasing doesn't slide off the beat. It's a slinky little phrase that works well providing you articulate the notes and make it groovy.
